Beauty giant Mary Kay has been awarded two new patents related to topical skincare. The formulations feature extracts from trees.
US 12,714,657 B2 (Jim Faller, David Gan, Michelle Hines and Lisa Mangos) details a method of treating skin with a composition comprising Magnolia bark extract, Vitis vinifera (grape) extract, helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, tocopherol and glycerin.
US 12,714,664 B2 (Tiffany Florence and Michelle Hines) centers on a method of treating skin in need of firming by using a composition that contains extract of Khaya senegalensis, butylene glycol, Helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, pentylene glycol and maltodextrin.
